The Charlotte County Cancer Society's board of directors unanimously voted to donate $25,000 to the Charlotte County Hospital Foundation's fundraising campaign to raise $175,000 for their new mammography machine for the Charlotte County Hospital.
The new state of the art piece of equipment will make it more convenient for county residents to be screened for breast cancer.Since it's inception, Charlotte County Cancer has been directly assisting residents of our county with financial help while living with cancer.
