The Grand Manan Fire Department responded to a fire at an unoccupied summer home on Hill Road last night. The home suffered smoke and fire damage to a front room.
RCMP tells us they believe the fire is suspicious.

The search is on for a new Chief Administrative officer here in St Stephen.Hendrick Slegtenhorst is moving on to another opportunity out west.No word on who is replacement will be.
