A First For The Province With Expansion Of Amber Alerts

Facebook users can sign up for AMBER alerts directly in their new feeds.
Amber alerts provide the public with info that can help locate an abducted child. Corporal Todd Chadwick is the Provincial Coordinator for AMBER Alert says this Facebook page is set up differently.

He says you can't write on the wall, it's purpose is to push information out to the public.

Jack Irving's Visitation

A large turnout is expected as people pay their respects to the late Jack Irving who died earlier this week. Visitation is from 2 this afternoon until 8 tonight at Trinity Anglican Church on Charlotte Street with the funeral service scheduled tomorrow morning at 11:00.

False Abduction In Memramcook

Police has found out the report of attempted abduction made a 10-year-old girl in Memramcook is false.
After she was being interviewed by RCMP investigators, she admitted she made up the incident.

Police tells us because of the age of the girl no charges are being considered.
