The cause of a fire early this morning in the north end of Saint John was arson. The Major Crime Unit along with fire investigators are trying to find who deliberately set it. The fire broke out around 3:30 in a two and a half storey wooden building that was empty on Douglas Avenue at Main Street.
Police say there were no injuries.

International Festival Kicks Off Tonight
The annual International Homecoming Festival celebrating kicks off its 37th year with a handshake tonight at The Ferry Point Bridge at 7.
The next 10 days will be filled full of events,activities friends and family from here and away.
International Homecoming Festival brings people from both countries together to celebrate more than 200 years of friendship between the two border towns. This year’s festival theme is “Bridging Our Friendship,” Events for the 37th Annual International
