Nursing Home Closed To All Visitors

Due to the Flu pandemic in Charlotte County, Lincourt manor will be restricting visitation to the home until further notice. Only immediate family members are allowed to visit the facility. Also Passamaquoddy Lodge closed the nursing home to all visitors until November 6th.

The Hydro Quebec take over of NB Power has many up in arms around the province. Though maybe none as strongly opposed as a 10,000 member facebook group.


The group, created Thursday, has grown to an extraordinary number in just 3 days, with members from all regions of the province saying no to the sale of the provincial power company. Clark Hamilton, the groups creator, tells us, the group is united in under one stance.

A protest against the sale is planned for November 17th in front of the New Brunswick Legislature.

Home Supports Workers Gets Turned Away

Home supports workers in St Stephen are upset they were turned away Friday to get there H1N1 Vaccine. Executive Director Trudy Higgins Tells Tide news they only did what they were told to do.



Higgins says home supports workers receive an email from social development and long term care stating they go to the Charlotte County Hosiptal to get their shot. She says when they were in line they were told they were not on the priority list. Higgins says most of their clients are the age of 80 and over and she feels her staff should of receive the shot.

School Closed

Some Schools in District Ten are closed today in Charlotte County.

Fundy High and St. George Elementary are closed today, and Tuesday.
Back Bay school is closed today .
The District had to closed some of the schools due to not having enough bus drivers and staff to supervise students.
