The RCMP
are now in the process of gathering and analyzing evidence in a fatal
shooting involving a Rothesay Regional Police officer.
That's
according to Constable Damien Thériault who tells us they are now
interviewing witnesses to establish what actually happened during the
incident on Friday evening, where a 27-year-old man died after being
shot outside a home on Shipyard Road as officers were responding to a
violent domestic dispute.
Thériault
says it's impossible to say when their investigation into the incident
might be completed. The name of the victim has not been released.
