With
more explosive details coming out about the senate expense controversy,
including talk of backroom deals, the Saint John MP believes the good
work of many senators are being overshadowed by the actions of a few.
Rodney
Weston tells Tide News this is the most attention the senate has
received in the last century, and everyone in the senate is being
painted with the same brush.
Weston
says he has a hard time with comments that the PMO wields too much power
and believes those who make those comments are "going a little too far
in that sense" and says that people have to be accountable for their own
actions.
He says there's no question that public trust has been tarnished, but hopes it can be regained.
