Towns Ready For Earl

Hurricane Earl's potential impact on Atlantic Canada is broadening. Tide News Spoke with Charlotte The Isles MLA and Fisheries Minister Rick Doucet and he tells us he took time off of the campaign trail yesterday to speak with members of municipality's in the area to go over their action plans..
Doucet was on Grand Manan yesterday and spoke with member from their EMO and The Department Of Public Safety and says they are prepared for Earl.

Lee Johnson Director Of Operation for The Town Of St. Stephen says we are prepared as the fire department will be on hand 24, generator's are in place for back up water and St. Stephen Public works are on call for anything flooding or downed trees the weather may bring our way...

The Chief Administrative & Development Officer for The Town Of Saint Andrews tells us they have emergency plans in place and reminds they can call the emergency line at 529-5120.

The Mayor of Blacks Harbour is reminding everyone to do their part in the community by checking on your neighbours or seniors in the area before and after the storm. Emergency plans are in place and ready to go if needed for Blacks Harbour.
