Water Safety Week

It's Water Safety Week and the Red Cross is putting out the word more care and caution needs to happen with activities involving water play or sports. There have been 15 drownings in Atlantic Canada so far this year so a strong emphasis also needs to be put on reminding everyone to put on a life jacket. Atlantic Canada averages roughly 25 drownings every year and there has already had more than half that many before the peak swimming and boating season.
