Lieutenant-Governor to mark Victoria Day with royal salute

A celebration to mark Victoria Day will kick off with a 21 gun solute at noon time on Monday. Lt.-Gov. Graydon Nicholas is will be on hand and invites New Brunswickers to come out and mark this day on the grounds of Government House, in Fredericton.

Nicholas will also inspect the reserve soldiers who are part of the Royal Canadian Artillery. The salute will consist of four, 105-mm howitzer guns, firing a 21-gun salute over the St. John River.
