New NBCC Programs in September

New programs will be available at New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) campuses as of September. Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Donald Arseneault made the announcement today.

A Carpentry, and Plumbing program will be offered at NBCC Saint Andrews campus with 18 seats open for each class also an Industrial Electrical  Program offering 16 seats. Starting In January of 2011 Saint Andrews campus will also offer the Practical Nurse Course with 16 seats up for grabs.

Early Childhood Education will be offered at the Woodstock campus with 20 seats...Medical Office Administration new to the Fredericton campus a two-year program in Computerized Numerically Controlled Machining at the Moncton campus.

The Flooring Installation program previously taught at NBCC Woodstock campus has been transferred to NBCC Moncton campus.

Arseneault said that adding these new programs fits with the objective of improving accessibility, as outlined in Be inspired. Be ready. Be better. The Action Plan to Transform Post-Secondary Education in New Brunswick.
