More than $7.5 million for Charlotte County roads

The provincial government is investing more than $7.5 million to improve transportation infrastructure in Charlotte County. The investments were highlighted today by Transportation Minister Denis Landry and Fisheries Minister Rick Doucet. The Town of St. Stephen will receive $1.25 million over a five-year agreement to reconstruct King Street. The Town of St. George is receiving $150,000 for work on Route 172 (Fundy Bay Drive from Mount Pleasant Road to Mascarene Road). The Village of Blacks Harbour is receiving $95,000 for storm sewer upgrades on Route 176.
