19-year old Sarah Marie Russell was in St. Stephen provincial court yesterday but the hearing was postponed after her lawyer asked for more time to review Crown evidence. A date will be set next month for a preliminary  hearing. Russell has already elected trial by a judge with no jury on charges of manslaughter and being an accessory after the fact to murder.
The case was set over until May 25.

Yesterday, she elected trial by Court of Queen's Bench judge alone on a charge of concealing the dead body of a newborn. On Jan. 29, the RCMP found the body of an infant in woods  outside St. Stephen.
