The weather wasn't the only thing police had to deal with in Charlotte County. Police tells us they responded to Highway 1 near Lepreau yesterday with regards to several vehicles and people gathered on the shoulder of the highway protesting regarding the LNG workers. Due to the weather conditions and poor visibility the vehicles were moved from the highway.
Officers tell us charges might be laid against some of the protestors who made an appearance before council in Saint John last night. Mayor Ivan Court says City Hall will do what it can to make sure a resolution can be found for both sides.
