Heading into the long weekend campers will be happy to hear the closed sign is officially down at the Oak Bay camp ground. The new Camp Ground Manager Joe Moffit tells tide news he can't say enough on how much this means to him to finally open for the season.He says alot of hard work and long hours but finally the camp ground is ready for business.
Moffit says there is roughly 80 sites that are now available. He says there is still some work that has to be completed but the majority is done. To open the camp ground was roughly $25,000.00 dollars to upgrade the premise. The tender is a ten year contract.
