Final preparations are underway for the Don Messer Centennial Celebration in Harvey Station. The events takes place in an 800-seat tent beside the rec centre, just up the hill from Harvey's famous giant fiddle. Messer, who was born and raised in nearby Tweedside, was one of Canada's most beloved entertainers. He will be celebrated with concerts, musical jams, an outdoor inter-faith church service and much more. This take place through august 1st to the 8th.
