Update July 14/09
A man is lucky to be alive after hitting a utility pole yesterday afternoon. A man from the McAdam area was travelling north on highway 3 when he went off the road hitting a pole and landing on top of the wires. Rcmp says the man was reaching down to adjust his stereo when he went off the road. NB Power and Fire officials were on the scene to assist with the accident. The man was sent to hosiptal but later released with minor injuries.
