Serious Assault

A 31 year old man from Public Landing was severely beaten last weekend and is at the Regional Hospital in Saint John in critical condition. The RCMP in Grand Bay-Westfield are looking for help in finding those who did it. The attack took place around 9:00 Saturday night at the Public Landing Wharf. According to the Mounties, 8 or 9 men got off a 26 foot white speedboat and four or five of them carried out the beating while the others went to a nearby store.
