Canadian Blood Services is asking St. Andrews and area residents to donate blood in the coming weeks. Faced with the risk of the H1N1 virus, inclement winter weather and declines in donations during the approaching holiday season, the organization is hoping to build up the blood supply now, prior to potential drops in donation levels.
A blood donor clinic is scheduled for Thursday, December 17 at the St. Andrews NBCC Campus from 12:30 to 3:30 and 5 to 6:30 p.m.
