St. Stephen and Saint John are on the agenda today for the Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence. Chair Senator Colin Kenny and several of his colleaugues including Senator Joseph Day have been visiting Maritime border crossings and points of entry this week. This morning at 11am.....the senator's will be at the Marco Polo Cruise terminal. CBSA officers will brief and answer questions on port operations and the use of detection equipment.
This afternoon at 1:30pm, CBSA will provide a tour of the new land border crossing in St. Stephen while briefing and answering questions from Senators on border crossing operations.
